HP Laserjet P4015
It is time to replace the old HP 4000, the HP 4050, HP 4100, HP 4250 or HP 4350 and you figure why not upgrade to the new HP printer, the Laserjet P4015. What are some of the pros and some of the cons?
Well, first of all, for the Pros — The drivers are obviously going to work well with the newer operating systems and parts will be easier to get (well, sort of… I am speaking more of when they are actually needed in a year or two…) Also, the speed is great at 52 pages per minute. Only the HP 4350 will be faster and if speed is that crucial to you, maybe it’s worth considering the HP Laserjet P4515 Series.
On the cons side of the equation, HP has been struggling with stock levels. Also, the cost per print has gone up pretty sunstantially, so the HP product is no longer a good “value” even though it’s a good printer. Finally, the drawers feel much cheaper and seem to break in the back far easier than previous models.
